Keeping you safe from pollution

The Air Quality Action Plan also lays out how we will work to reduce exposure to air pollution, which will limit the impact of pollution on the health of Lambeth residents.  

The highest risk areas of Lambeth are in the north of the borough, between the Vauxhall and Waterloo areas.

Actions in the proposed Air Quality Action Plan to reduce exposure to air pollution:

Investments - we are going to improve ventilation on most impacted properties, invest in green screens and barriers on our most polluting roads, plant more trees across the borough.
